You stay in control of your data
Privacy policy
What data is received when you visit or contact us, why it is processed, and the rights available to you.
Data controller
Vienna Process Office, represented by Nur Safa and Fahima Zahma.
Contact form and correspondence
If you submit the contact form or email us, we process your name, email address, subject, message and technical anti-spam information to answer your request and protect the form. Depending on the request, the legal basis is consent, pre-contractual steps, or legitimate interests in communication and security under GDPR Article 6(1)(a), (b) and (f).
Technical logs and hosting
The server may log IP address, request time, requested page, browser type, referrer and technical errors to deliver the website securely and prevent abuse. This relies on legitimate interests in service security and stability. Hosting, email and WordPress maintenance providers may have technical access only where necessary.
Cookies and your choice
To remember your choice, the website stores vp_cookie_consent in your browser and in a cookie of the same name for 180 days. “Essential only” does not enable optional cookies. At present, the website does not intentionally set advertising or marketing analytics cookies. Signed-in WordPress administrators may receive essential session and administration cookies.
Fonts, icons and external links
Manrope, Vazirmatn and Material Symbols are loaded from Google Fonts. Your IP address and browser information may therefore be transmitted to Google to deliver those files. When you open X, LinkedIn or another external website, that service’s privacy policy applies.
Retention and recipients
Data is kept only as long as needed to answer an inquiry, maintain security, document legitimate activity or meet a legal obligation, then deleted or anonymised. Access is limited to authorised office personnel and, where technically necessary, hosting and email providers. Personal data is not sold.
Your rights
Where applicable under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdrawal of consent without affecting earlier processing. You also have the right not to be subject to a solely automated decision producing significant legal effects; this website does not use such decision-making.
Contact us to exercise a right. You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna; [email protected].
Security and changes
Proportionate technical and organisational safeguards are used, although no internet transmission is risk-free. Material changes will be published here with a revised review date.
